Accessing your notifications
You can view your notifications at any time from the top navigation bar.
Click the Bell icon next to your avatar. If the Bell icon displays a red dot, you have new or unread notifications:
A pop-up opens showing all unread and previously read notifications:
ApprovalMax shows different types of notifications depending on your role and your Organisation’s status:
Announcement & Maintenance — important product updates, incident alerts, and scheduled maintenance.
License notifications — messages about trials, subscription renewal, payment issues, or plan changes.
Add-on notification — alerts related to add-on usage limits, such as Capture or ApprovalMax Pay.
Available actions
Depending on the notification type, you may see one or more actions:
Mark as read
Click Mark all as read at the top of the pop-up to clear all unread notifications:
You can also mark a single notification as read by opening it or clicking the blue dot on the right-hand side.
Dismiss
Some notifications include a Dismiss button:
Dismissing a notification removes it from your list.
Some subscription or trial-related alerts typically cannot be dismissed and remain visible until the issue is resolved.
Contact Sales
Shown when a notification relates to billing, subscription upgrades, renewals, or add-on usage.
Clicking Contact sales opens your default email application so you can send a message directly to the ApprovalMax Sales team:
Manage
Appears when the notification requires an account-level update.
Clicking Manage takes you directly to the relevant page (for example, subscription settings, payment details, or add-on configuration):
Update payment details
This action appears when there is an issue with the current payment method (for example, a failed payment or grace period notification).
Clicking Update payment details takes you to the Subscriptions tab in Billing & Subscriptions, where you can update your Organisation’s payment method:
Upgrade plan
This option shows up when your trial has ended or when your Organisation has exceeded its add-on limits.
Clicking Upgrade plan opens the Upgrade Subscription page, where you can upgrade to a higher plan or adjust your add-on limits as needed.:
