Not directly. Batch Payments in ApprovalMax Pay are built from approved Bills only, so credit notes cannot be added to the batch.
You can still make sure you never overpay a supplier. Allocate the credit note to the Bill in Xero first, then create the Batch Payment as usual.
How it works
ApprovalMax pays each Bill based on its remaining Amount Due in Xero, not its original total. When you allocate a credit note to a Bill, Xero lowers that Bill's Amount Due.
Before processing a payment, ApprovalMax checks the payment amount against the Bill's remaining Amount Due in Xero. If the payment amount exceeds the outstanding balance, ApprovalMax blocks the payment to prevent overpaying the supplier.
How to pay Bills with applied credit notes
In Xero, apply the credit note to the relevant Bill.
Make sure ApprovalMax has synced with Xero to retrieve the updated Amount Due.
In ApprovalMax, create a Batch Payment as usual using the approved Bills. The batch payment will include only the remaining amount owed.
