Organisation Owners and Administrators can control whether ApprovalMax Capture extracts tax information from recognised documents.
Please note: Changing this setting only affects documents recognised after you save your changes. Existing requests are not updated.
To enable or disable tax extraction
Open your Organisation.
Under Workflows and settings, open the Organisation settings and connection page.
Under Tax extraction in Capture, select or clear the Yes checkbox.
Selected = tax extraction is enabled.
Cleared = tax extraction is disabled.
Click Save changes.
What happens when tax extraction is disabled?
When Tax extraction in Capture is disabled, ApprovalMax Capture no longer extracts tax information from newly recognised documents.
Instead:
Amounts are automatically set to No tax.
The document total is treated as the net amount, so any tax included on the original document is included in the line amount.
Tax amounts are not extracted or populated separately.
