Whether you’re completely new to ApprovalMax or an existing user looking to test advanced features, there’s a trial option designed for your needs.
ApprovalMax offers three main ways to explore the platform:
1. Starting a trial as a new user
When you first sign up for ApprovalMax, you automatically begin with a free trial:
Our research shows that the ApprovalMax configuration typically takes less than 24 hours, so a 14-day trial should be long enough for most cases.
During the trial:
You have access to all the features in our Premium feature plan to see how they fit your business
You can start your trial immediately without providing any credit card or billing details
You don't have to use your live accounting data right away. You can connect to a Xero demo company to explore predefined workflows and sample data without affecting your real records
Once the trial ends, or at any time during it, you can purchase a subscription to continue using ApprovalMax and keep all your settings and workflows intact.
2. All Features trial for existing users
If you already have a paid Standard or Advanced feature plan, you can start a 14-day All Features trial to explore Premium plan features.
To start a trial upgrade:
Click on your Avatar icon in the top right-hand corner and select Billing & Subscriptions from the dropdown menu:
Navigate to the Organisations tab and click on the Try all features button:
Choose your Organisation and click on Try all features for 14 days:
Once activated, an AFT badge will appear next to your plan name in the Organisations list. You can hover over it to check when your trial expires:
3. Trial for a newly added Organisation
When you add a new Organisation to an existing ApprovalMax account, it automatically starts as a 3-day free trial.
You can add a new trial Organisation in two ways:
Open the Organisation switcher in the left-hand navigation, scroll to the bottom and click on +Add an Organisation:
Go to the Organisations tab under Billing & Subscriptions and click on the + Add Organisation button:
Once connected, the new Organisation starts under a Trial plan where all ApprovalMax features are available for 3 days:
At the end of the 3 days, you’ll need to purchase a subscription for that Organisation to maintain access. If you need more than three days, you can contact our Sales team to request a trial extension.
