Release 2026-02-24

Updated this week

What's New

New Bill-to-PO Matching condition for QuickBooks Online Bill matrices available in beta

QuickBooks Online connected Organisations can now have Bill-to-PO matching as a condition in Bill approval matrices. A new Bill-to-PO Matching setting is available in the Auto-Approval step, Approval, and Review matrices, allowing you to define approval rules based on the Bill’s matching status.

If you would like to enable this feature, please contact us.

What's Improved

Reject one-click matching suggestions for Xero Bills

You can now reject a suggested one Purchase Order match directly from the one-click matching section for Bills in Xero-connected Organisations. If you don’t want to use the suggested match, click on Reject suggestion to decline it.

Once rejected, the same Purchase Order won’t be suggested again for one-click matching on that Bill, helping you avoid repeated prompts.

Updated Add member flow for ApprovalMax Pay Wallets

You can now add multiple members to an ApprovalMax Pay Wallet and assign their roles in a single pop-up window. By default, users are added as Wallet Viewer. Only the Wallet Owner can change the role to Wallet Manager before confirming, while Wallet Managers can add members but can’t change their roles.

Extended Tax ID number field for Xero Contacts

When creating a new Contact in a Xero-connected Organisation, you can now enter up to 50 characters in the Tax ID number field, increased from the previous 15-character limit. This applies to Contact requests as well as when adding a new Contact from a Purchase Order, Bill, AP Credit Note, Expense Report, Sales Invoice, AR Credit Note or Quote.

What's Fixed

For Xero:

  • Supplier emails will retain the original Requester as the sender, even if the request is edited during approval.

  • Line Item Tracking Category field values are saved correctly after request submission.
