How do audit reports work in ApprovalMax for QuickBooks Online

Updated over 2 months ago

Audit report is a very important feature in ApprovalMax:

When a finance document in ApprovalMax receives its final approval, ApprovalMax automatically generates an "Audit report" in the form of a .PDF file. This report captures essential information about the document, including details such as the document type, relevant data, and a chronological record of the approval process, indicating the individuals who approved the request and the corresponding timestamps.

Please note that, currently, the audit reports do not include comments. However, they provide a concise overview of the approval trail, enabling easy reference and verification of approval actions.

In addition to being available within ApprovalMax, the audit reports for documents that originate QuickBooks Online are uploaded to the respective accounting systems as well. This ensures that the reports are easily accessible within the accounting platforms, facilitating auditing processes and maintaining comprehensive records.

These audit reports serve as valuable documentation for audit purposes, assisting in compliance, traceability, and financial transparency. They offer visibility into the approval history and contribute to the overall accountability and integrity of financial processes.
