How can I switch off email notifications?

ApprovalMax sends out two types of email notifications (instantly and daily):

ApprovalMax sends email notifications to users based on their roles and assignments in workflows or Organisations. Notifications can be triggered by approval requests, workflow updates, and Organisational activities.

  • New requests (instantly)

  • Comments (instantly)

  • Other notifications (Auto-Approvals/Auto-Rejections, Forced decisions, change of Approvers, etc.) (instantly)

  • Summary of open approvals (daily) - you can specify the days and time for receiving these daily summary reports

Each notification type is triggered by specific actions: approval requests are sent when a new request is created, comments are sent when someone comments on a request, and other notifications are triggered by system actions like auto-approvals or changes in approvers.

This is how you switch off notifications

  • Click on your avatar in the top right-hand corner and open My profile:

  • There you'll find the Email Notifications section. You can toggle to enable or disable each notification type:


    Once you have configured your new notification settings, click on SAVE:
