What is Price Checker? (QuickBooks Online)

The feature Price Checker detects potential price deviations for each item and then informs users about it. The deviation calculation is triggered every time QuickBooks Online Purchase Orders/Bills or Expenses are being previewed, created or edited:

  1. If the deviation value is negative or one of the price values is null, the warning level is None.
  2. If the percentage deviation value is between 0 and 5, the warning level is Yellow.
  3. If the percentage deviation value is between 5 and 25, the warning level is Orange.
  4. If the percentage deviation value is above 25, the warning level is Red.

Please note: the Price Checker is unavailable if the Organisation currency differs from the Contact currency.
