What is the Editing on Approval functionality?

ApprovalMax now offers an Editing on Approval functionality in workflows for Xero Purchase Orders/Bills/Sales Invoices/Quotes/Xero Batch Payment/ Airwallex Batch Payment in Xero-connected Organisations. This feature allows Approvers with editing privileges to modify requests during the approval process without having to reject them.

ApprovalMax Administrators and Workflow Managers can grant editing permissions to individual Approvers:

Once enabled, Approvers can edit requests at any stage without restarting the workflow. Mandatory editing of certain fields can be put in place to ensure that essential changes are made.

Additionally, editing permissions can be used to restrict Approvers with editing rights in terms of certain values specified in the editing matrix:

This feature is available with Advanced and Premium plans for Xero-connected Organisations.

Please note: if you were using the old review functionality, it will be removed once you enable the beta.
