Posting Preferences for Xero Manual Journals

With the setting Posting Preferences in ApprovalMax you have the flexibility to control how Manual Journals are created in Xero upon their final approval. This allows you to specify the desired behavior for Manual Journals.
  1. Select your Organisation in the main menu and open "Approval workflows" page under "Workflows and settings" section.



  2. Open the Manual Journal workflow:



  3. Click on the gear icon  and select your Posting Preference, click on SAVE and then on UPDATE THE WORKFLOW:


    There are two options available:
  1. As draft (default): with this option selected, Manual Journals will be created in Xero as Drafts after their approval in ApprovalMax. This allows for further review and modification, if needed, before the Manual Journals get posted in Xero:

  2. As posted: if you choose this option, Manual Journals will be automatically created and posted in Xero straightaway upon their approval in ApprovalMax. This eliminates the need for additional steps in Xero and ensures that the Manual Journals are immediately reflected in your financial records:
