Notifications in ApprovalMax
ApprovalMax sends out two types of email notifications (instantly and daily), about:
- New requests (instantly)
- Comments (instantly)
- Other notifications (Auto-approvals/Auto-rejections, external rejection by GL, Forced decisions, change of Approvers, etc.) (instantly)
- Summary of open approvals (daily) - you can specify the days and time for receiving these daily summary reports
Instant/daily notifications can be turned on/off in "My profile" based on your preferences.
This is how you set up instant notifications:
- Click on your avatar in the top right-hand corner and select My Profile:
- In My Profile, you'll find the Email Notifications section. You can toggle the status for each notification type by clicking on

- As a result, the button turns green and the respective notifications are switched on:
- To switch off instant notifications, click on
next to New Requests / Comments / Other Notifications and toggle the status.

Notifications to an Organisation's Administrator:
