Migration from the old Review functionality to the new Editing on Approval
In 2017, ApprovalMax introduced a basic Review and Coding functionality specifically for Xero Bills. Since then, we've developed a much more advanced and flexible solution – Editing on Approval – which covers a wider range of Xero workflows.
We will discontinue our support for the old Review functionality soon.
To continue using the powerful Editing on Approval feature, we encourage all Organisations to migrate to the new data format.
If your Organisation is under the Advanced or Premium plans, you can continue using the Editing on Approval feature once the migration is complete.
This is how you migrate your matching data:
- Go to Workflows and settings > Approval workflows > Bill workflow and click on the MIGRATE NOW button on the Bill Editing by Approvers tile:
- In the pop-up window, you'll find the details of the migrating rules:
Click on LET'S MIGRATE NOW to proceed with the migration. - As a result, all rules from the old Review functionality will be migrated to the editing matrix for Approvers.
Please note: The migration is only possible if in the old Review functionality, the Reviewer was also added as an Approver.Related Articles
