Is it possible to put requests On Hold?
Overview
ApprovalMax provides an On Hold functionality to manage requests that require a temporary suspension.
What does On Hold Mean?
The On Hold status allows you to pause a request without cancelling it. This is useful when:
• You need to gather more information
• You want to postpone a request until a later date
The corresponding comment is added to the audit log.
Such requests won't be up for approval/rejection unless the respective person revises the On Hold status and returns the request to On Approval.
Important note: The approval steps are not reset when a request is removed from the On Hold status. So, the request will resume the approval process from the point where it was paused.
