To start the Authenticate with NatWest feature, you'll need to enable third-party provider payment privileges for the team members (users in Bankline) who will be making payments via ApprovalMax Pay. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through the process.
Create a new role with third-party payment privileges
1. In the Administration menu, select "Manage roles" and click on Create role located to the right:
2. On the Create Role screen, enter a unique name and a brief description (for example, TTP Privileges Open Banking):
3. Next, scroll down to the bottom and use the drop-down menu to find privileges by category. Select "Third Party Provider consents" and click on Save & go:
4. On the following screen, activate all available boxes and click on Save & go:
5. On the next screen, also tick all boxes. Then change the privileges type in the drop-down menu to "Third Party Provider payments" and click on Save & Go:
6. Double-check and click on Continue to proceed:
7. Select the accounts you want to use for payments via ApprovalMax Pay and click on Continue.
8. Finally, on the next screen, click on Confirm new role to finish the setup:
Assign this role to users who will be initiating payments in ApprovalMax Pay
1. Open Manage Users and select the user you want to assign this role to.
2. In the Edit User menu, scroll down to the bottom and click on Edit roles.
3. On the Edit Roles screen, find the new role you created and click on Continue.
4. Click on Confirm changes in the bottom-right corner of the next screen.
5. You'll then be prompted to authenticate your changes using your smart card. Click on Authenticating the action with your Smartcard to complete the Smartcard authorisation process.
