How can Requesters amend a Contact before approval?
Pending Contact requests can be amended by Requesters.
In order to edit a Contact record, click on EDIT:

Edit the respective fields and resubmit the request for approval.

No, this is not possible. The Contact Approval workflow in ApprovalMax can only be initiated for newly created Contacts.
