How can I restrict the Requesters of Xero Manual Journals?
ApprovalMax allows to restrict Requesters in terms of what data they're able to see and work with when creating a Manual Journal. You can, for example, configure their access rights for Manual Journal creation in a way that individual Requesters are only allowed to select certain Vendors or a particular Location.
This is how you can restrict Requesters:
- Select your Organisation in the main menu and open "Approval workflows" page under "Workflows and settings" section.
- Open the Manual Journal workflow:
- Click on the matrix icon
in the "Create Manual Journal" step to open the Requester matrix:
- Add the Requesters who will be allowed to create Manual Journals.
- Specify the restriction criteria, such as: Tracking Options, Account, Tax:
- Click on DONE to save your changes.
Please note: for some fields you can decide whether they should be mandatory or optional for Requesters to fill in during Manual Journal creation:The fields Account and Tax are always mandatory.
