How can I restrict the Requesters of QuickBooks Online Sales Invoices?

ApprovalMax allows to restrict Requesters in terms of what data they're able to see and work with when creating Sales Invoices. You can, for example, configure their access rights for Sales Invoice creation in a way that individual Requesters are only allowed to select certain customers or particular products/services.

This is how you restrict Requesters:
  1. In the main menu, select your Organisation and open Approval Workflows under Workflows And Settings:

  2. Select and open the Sales Invoice workflow. Click on the matrix icon  in the creation step to open the Requester matrix:

  3. Add the Requesters who will be allowed to create Sales Invoices.
  4. Specify the restriction criteria, such as: Customer, Product/Service, Category, Location or Class:

  5. Click on DONE to save your changes.
Please note: for some fields you can decide whether they should be mandatory or optional for Requesters to fill in during Sales Invoice creation:


The Customer field is always mandatory.
