How can I connect ApprovalMax to Cin7 Core?

Currently, ApprovalMax supports manual TBA (token-based authentication) for when Administrators need to generate tokens in the Cin7 Core user interface (UI) and then manually copy them to the ApprovalMax UI later.

In order to set up a connection between ApprovalMax and Cin7 Core, we need the following data from the Cin7 Core account:

Cin7 Core Inventory Account ID
In Cin7 Core, go to Integrations > API > Configure API. Give a name to the new integration and click on the Create button.
Copy the Inventory Account ID.
Application Key
Copy the Application Key.

In Cin7 Core, go to Integrations > API > Configure API:



Click on the "+" button and give a name to the new integration, then click on the Create button:


Copy the generated ID and key:



This is how you connect ApprovalMax to Cin7 Core:

  1. In the main menu select your ApprovalMax Organisation, then open Approval Workflows under Workflows And Settings, or open Organisation Settings And Connection:

  2. Select "Connect to Cin7 Core" and click on NEXT:



  3. Copy the Inventory Account ID and Application Key from Cin7 Core and paste them in ApprovalMax. Then click on CONNECT:

  4.  Your ApprovalMax Organisation is now connected to the Cin7 Core organisation and you can set up approval workflows.
