How are the total amounts in the Airwallex Batch Payment calculated?

The first total amount of an Airwallex Batch is calculated at the time of its submission. It is determined by summing up the payment amounts specified for each line within the Batch. If the Batch involves multiple currencies, ApprovalMax utilises OpenExchangeRate.com to calculate the total amount in the company currency.

The final total amount is calculated when payments are created in Airwallex. It represents the actual amount that will be debited from the Airwallex balance in the source currency, including any applicable fees. This calculation reflects the final outcome after considering exchange rates and fees associated with the Batch Payments.

By calculating both the initial total amount and the final total amount, ApprovalMax enables comprehensive visibility and transparency regarding the payment values.
