Bulk actions let you make changes across multiple line items at once, saving time on repetitive edits and reducing errors.
ApprovalMax supports bulk actions for Line Items on NetSuite Edit forms for Bills, Purchase Orders, Expense Reports, Sales Orders, and Invoices.
The following bulk actions are available on the Edit form of a request:
Edit: Apply the same values to selected lines in dropdown fields, simplifying complex edits and ensuring consistency across your documents.
Clone: Duplicate selected line items to create similar entries fast.
Split line: Divide a selected line item into an equal number of new lines (2–100).
Amounts, quantities, and tax are distributed evenly, with any rounding remainder applied to the last line. All other fields (account, item, tax code, tracking, etc.) are copied to each new line
Merge: combine two or more selected line items into a single Line Item with an editable preview before confirmation.
The merged line's account, tax code, and other categorical fields take the most common value among the selected lines; amounts and tax are summed.
Delete: Delete multiple lines in one go for an efficient clean-up and streamlined document organisation.
