ApprovalMax offers two billing cycle options: monthly and annual. You can choose the billing cycle that best fits your Organisation’s budgeting and payment preferences.
Monthly billing cycle
You’re charged once per month.
Your subscription renews automatically on your monthly renewal date.
Any additional usage (if applicable) is included in the next monthly invoice.
Annual billing cycle
You’re charged once per year.
Your subscription renews automatically on your annual renewal date.
Annual billing offers a 17% discount compared to monthly billing.
Usage allowances are calculated across the full annual period.
How billing cycle renewal dates are set
The very first subscription you purchase for a specific billing cycle sets the renewal date for that cycle. Once a billing renewal date is set for a billing cycle, any additional Organisations added to that same billing cycle will automatically align with that date.
For example, if you purchase your first monthly subscription on March 10th, your monthly billing renewal date is set to the 10th of every month.
If you add an additional monthly subscription on May 28th, it will automatically align with your existing cycle. You will pay a prorated amount for the period between May 28th and June 10th, and from that point forward, both Organisations will renew together on the 10th.
Please note: Monthly and Annual cycles are independent of each other. You can have a Monthly cycle that renews on the 10th and an Annual cycle that renews on the 25th.
Resetting a billing cycle renewal date
If all subscriptions within a particular billing cycle are cancelled or upgraded so that none remain active, that billing cycle no longer has an established renewal date.
The next subscription created under that billing cycle will set a new renewal date based on its purchase date, effectively resetting the billing schedule for that billing cycle.
