The Price Checker feature in Approval Max detects potential price deviations for each item and alerts users when discrepancies are found.
Price Checker runs automatically whenever a Purchase Order or Bill is previewed, created or edited.
The system compares the item’s current unit price in the document with its inventory cost price and flags any significant deviations.
How deviation levels are calculated:
If the deviation value is negative or one of the price values is missing/null, the warning level is None
If the percentage deviation is between 0 and 5, the warning level is Yellow
If the percentage deviation is between 5 and 25, the warning level is Orange
If the percentage deviation is above 25, the warning level is Red
