Setting for when requests are created in NetSuite

You can decide when ApprovalMax will create requests in NetSuite: either immediately after their submission for approval, or only after the final approval.

This is how the Account Owner or an Administrator activates the setting

  1. Open Approval workflows under Workflows and settings, then select the respective workflow (e.g. Purchase Order, Vendor Bill, Expense Report, Bill Payment, Invoice or Journal Entry):

2. Click on the Cog icon to open the workflow settings:

3. Under the General tab, go to the section for "Create requests in NetSuite" and choose your preferred option:

5. Choose between: ​

  • After submission for approval – ApprovalMax will create a request in NetSuite as soon as the request is submitted in ApprovalMax​

  • After final approval – ApprovalMax will only create a request in NetSuite once all approvals are completed in ApprovalMax

6. Once selected, click on Save changes and then update/activate the workflow to apply the new settings:
