This setting is relevant for the Xero Manual Journal workflow.
With the setting Posting Preferences in ApprovalMax you can control how Manual Journals are created in Xero upon their final approval. This allows you to specify the desired behaviour for Manual Journals.
This is how you set up Posting Preferences:
Find your Organisation in the main menu and go to Approval workflows under Workflows and settings.
Open the Manual Journal workflow and click on the Gear icon.
Within the General section, navigate to the Posting preferences settings and select the preferred option:
There are two options available:As Draft (default): Manual Journals will be created in Xero as Drafts after their approval in ApprovalMax. This allows for further review and modification, if needed, before the Manual Journals are posted in Xero:
As Posted: Manual Journals will be automatically created and posted in Xero straightaway upon their approval in ApprovalMax. This eliminates the need for additional steps in Xero and ensures that the Manual Journals are immediately reflected in your financial records:
Apply your settings by clicking on SAVE CHANGES in the upper right-hand corner of the Workflow Settings window and update/activate the workflow.
