How to set up notifications about Bill approvals

You can set up ApprovalMax to send notifications about important Bill events to a specific email address.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to configure ApprovalMax so that it notifies the actual person who created a particular Bill in Xero (because Xero doesn't share via the API who has raised the Bills). In fact, only the one user who was specified in the first step (Pulling from Xero) of the Bill workflow will receive notifications.

In order to select the email address where notifications are to be sent, please open the Bill workflow and select a user in the Pulling from Xero step.

Requesters can turn on instant notifications in the My Profile > Notifications section under their avatar:

Unfortunately, it is not possible to configure ApprovalMax so that it notifies the actual person who created a particular Bill in Dext. Only the one user who was specified in the Receive from Dext Prepare section of the Bill workflow will receive notifications:
